The text you paste
The agreement and the client message you paste are sent to our server and on to our language-model provider so your check can run. They are not written to our database and not written to our application logs, and we do not use them to train models.
If you attach a file instead of pasting, the file is opened and read inside your own browser. The file is never uploaded to us — only the text it yields, which then travels exactly as pasted text does. Its name is not sent to us either, and does not appear in our analytics.
Our language-model provider is OpenAI (United States), acting as our processor. They process the text to return the result and, under their API terms, do not use it to train their models. Their handling is described in the OpenAI privacy policy.
Requests reach that provider through ProxyAPI (Russia), which relays them on our behalf and is also our processor. Under its privacy policy it does not keep the content of the requests it relays or of the answers it returns — only the usage figures it needs in order to bill us.
What we do keep
- Your email address.
- The verdict and its confidence level.
- The number of characters in each of your two inputs — not the inputs themselves.
- Whether you copied the reply, and whether you clicked the pricing button.
- A record of how you used the site — pages opened, buttons used, which verdict came back and when. It never contains the text you paste.
- Date and time.
- Advertising identifiers from the link you arrived on (
gclid,utm_*), if present. - A random identifier stored in a cookie, so we can count the free checks a visitor has used.
Why we keep it
To send you access when the full version opens (your email, on the basis of your consent), and to understand whether people finish a check and whether the result is useful — our legitimate interest in knowing whether the product works. Standard server logs, which include IP addresses, are kept for security and troubleshooting.
How long
Records are kept for up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them. Server logs are kept for 30 days.
Cookies
One cookie (sg_vid) holds a random identifier. It is what keeps
the free checks tied to one visitor, and it is also what ties together the
record of how you used the site described above. It is set on your first
page, lasts 180 days, and carries nothing about you beyond that number. Your
answer to the cookie banner is kept in your browser’s local storage, not in
a cookie, and never reaches us.
If you arrived from an advertised link, the identifiers in it
(gclid, utm_*) are held in your browser’s session
storage, which empties when you close the tab. They are held there so that
they still travel with your email several screens later, and they reach us
only when you give us that address.
In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland we ask before setting Google Analytics cookies, and none are set unless you accept. Elsewhere they are set when the page loads. If you decline, no Google Analytics cookies are set and nothing about your visit is sent to Google; that answer is remembered and stays in force wherever you next open the site from. Analytics data is processed by Google; see the Google privacy policy.
The record of how the site was used, described above, is kept on our own servers. It is not shared with Google, and nothing is stored on your device to produce it, so the cookie choice above does not change it.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. It is shared only with the providers that run the service: our hosting provider (servers in Finland, EU), ProxyAPI (Russia, which relays requests to the language model), OpenAI (United States, the language model), and Google (analytics, unless you have declined). Transfers outside the EEA rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EEA you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or withdraw consent — write to scope@agent-studio.store and we will act within one month. You can also complain to your national data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
